This site sets no cookies.
Not one. Visits are counted without them, anonymously — and the switch to stop even that is right here.

Audience measurement
What that means precisely
Nothing is written to your device to identify you: no cookies, no advertising tag, no social media button, nothing that follows you to other websites.
The one script that is not the site itself is Vercel Web Analytics, served from this site's own address by our host. It counts page views and signups anonymously, with no cookie and a visitor hash that resets every 24 hours. The privacy notice lists exactly what it records.
No typeface is downloaded at all: the site uses the ones already on your device, so your browser never contacts Google or anyone else to render a page here.
Why there is no banner
French law on trackers — article 82 of the loi Informatique et Libertés, which implements the ePrivacy directive — normally requires your consent. The CNIL exempts audience measurement that only produces anonymous statistics for the site itself, is not combined with other data, does not follow you elsewhere, and that you can object to. Ours is set up to meet those conditions, so it runs without a banner, and the switch above is your objection.
A banner that asks permission for cookies that do not exist is not compliance. It is theatre, and it trains people to click Accept on everything.
What happens instead
Loading a page makes an ordinary web request, which our host records briefly in its server logs, as every host does. The visit is counted anonymously, unless you have switched that off. Submitting the signup form sends your email address to us. All three are described in the privacy notice.
If you switch the counting off, this site stores one thing in your browser: the fact that you said no, so it can keep respecting it. Clearing your browser data clears that too.
That is the entire list of things this site knows about you.
If this ever changes
If we add anything that needs consent — advertising, a social media pixel, anything that follows you — you will get a real consent banner before it runs even once: refusing as easy and as prominent as accepting, no tracker set before you choose, each purpose listed separately, your choice remembered and reversible, and this page rewritten to say exactly what was added.
Until you see that banner, the sentence at the top of this page is the whole truth.
